Generally, patients with high uric acid levels can consume cream, but they should do so in moderation.

Cream is primarily composed of fat and does not directly increase blood uric acid levels. Additionally, cream is a low-purine food, with a relatively low purine content of approximately 10 milligrams per 100 grams of cream, and therefore does not significantly raise uric acid levels. However, cream contains high levels of fat and calories, and excessive intake may lead to excessive fat consumption, which can affect the excretion of uric acid.

Moreover, cream contains a significant amount of saturated fatty acids. Excessive intake of saturated fatty acids can affect insulin sensitivity, leading to insulin resistance, which indirectly impairs the kidney's ability to excrete uric acid. If uric acid excretion is impaired, blood uric acid levels may rise, worsening the condition of elevated uric acid. Therefore, patients with high uric acid levels can consume cream in moderation but should control the amount and frequency of intake to avoid adverse effects on uric acid levels.

In daily life, patients with high uric acid levels should also maintain healthy dietary and lifestyle habits to support overall health.
