Disease description:

My son is just 17 years old, and recently he has been constantly breaking out with pimples on his face. The child always uses his hands to squeeze the pimples, and I'm afraid this will leave acne marks, which will be even harder to remove later. What should we do about his acne?

Acne, clinically referred to as acne vulgaris, is primarily associated with excessive sebum production, hormonal imbalances, Propionibacterium acnes infection, and abnormal keratinization of the hair follicles. Therefore, in terms of treatment, it is first recommended to avoid spicy, overly oily, and excessively sweet foods, as well as to refrain from不良 habits such as staying up late, smoking, and drinking alcohol. Proper facial cleansing is also important. If acne presents with pustules or cysts, topical application of fusidic acid, erythromycin, clindamycin, or benzoyl peroxide can be used for anti-inflammatory treatment. I hope the above information is helpful to you. Wishing you good health.
