Treatment Methods for Urticaria in Children
My 2-year-old daughter has developed urticaria (hives). Could you please tell me what are the treatment options for pediatric urticaria?

For infantile urticaria, the first step is to properly care for the baby's skin and prevent scratching to avoid skin breakdown and potential skin infections. It is necessary to identify and eliminate allergens, apply topical anti-itch lotions, and administer oral antihistamine medications such as loratadine syrup and promethazine hydrochloride. If the baby has a viral infection, disinfection or anti-inflammatory treatment should be performed first, followed by localized treatment with calamine lotion. Lastly, systemic treatment should be carried out to address the symptoms of urticaria. All medications must be used under the guidance of a physician.
