Bacterial Conjunctivitis and Cough in Infants
Disease description:
My baby is six months old now, and I would like to consult about how to deal with my baby's bacterial conjunctivitis and cough.

It is recommended to use erythromycin eye ointment topically for treatment, as it can help reduce inflammation and kill bacteria, which is quite effective for conjunctivitis. If the condition is severe, it is advised to use it in combination with antibiotics. If the patient is not allergic to penicillin, amoxicillin capsules are recommended. Additionally, ensure frequent handwashing for the child using running water, and remind the child not to rub their eyes with dirty hands.
