Disease description:

My child has naturally oily skin, and has been eating more spicy food than usual these past couple of days, resulting in many pimples on the face. I would like to ask, in general, how long does it usually take for them to go away?

Hello, acne is a chronic inflammatory skin condition of the pilosebaceous units, commonly occurring in adolescents, and often naturally improves or resolves after puberty. Acne tends to lessen after adolescence. Topical medications such as tretinoin cream or tazarotene gel can also be used to help alleviate symptoms. Ensure adequate rest, maintain a healthy diet and regular作息 (作息 should be "lifestyle habits" or "routine"), avoid spicy and irritating foods, keep the face and other affected areas clean, and use a mild oil-control cleanser for facial cleansing. I hope the above information is helpful. Wishing you good health.
