My son was bitten by insects. He has an allergic constitution, and the bite area swells more and more after being bitten. After scratching, it becomes broken with pus discharge. I would like to know what to do if a child's mosquito bite becomes broken from scratching?

First, perform local disinfection if a child scratches a mosquito bite until it bleeds. Use a cotton swab dipped in water to gently clean away bloodstains, then apply iodophor and alcohol to achieve local disinfection. Secondly, apply lincomycin lidocaine gel in a timely manner. Lincomycin lidocaine gel has effects of relieving itching, alleviating pain, and preventing infection. Lidocaine, as an anesthetic, provides significant pain relief and anti-itching effects, while lincomycin is an antibiotic that can effectively prevent secondary bacterial infections in children. However, please note that lincomycin lidocaine gel is recommended for use in children older than 1 month.
