What causes abdominal pain and vomiting in children, and what medications can be taken?

Abdominal pain and vomiting in children are commonly seen in acute gastroenteritis, and mesenteric lymphadenitis cannot be ruled out. These conditions are often caused by bacterial infections and require treatment with anti-infective medications, such as Cefaclor granules. For severe abdominal pain, antispasmodic medications such as Belladonna mixture may be given. Additionally, probiotics can be administered to regulate the gastrointestinal microecology and alleviate gastrointestinal spasms. Commonly used probiotics include live combined Bacillus subtilis and Enterococcus faecalis granules, which should be taken with warm water. Pediatric gastroenteritis recovery granules may also be given to help regulate the gastrointestinal tract.
