A baby coughing and crying may be caused by a cold due to exposure to cold, or it could be due to irritation from lung inflammation. If it is caused by a cold, medications such as Children's Paracetamol, Chlorpheniramine, and Amantadine Granules may be administered under a doctor's guidance. If the cause is lung inflammation, anti-inflammatory treatments such as Lurikou Heji (Pulmonary Relief Cough Mixture) or Cefixime Granules may be taken as directed by a physician, and nebulizer inhalation therapy may also be used as an adjunct. However, please note that Cefixime Granules should only be used in babies older than 6 months.
