Honey water may help relieve coughing in children. However, honey water alone cannot completely cure a cough, as it is not a medication and does not treat coughing. If the cough is not particularly severe, children can eat more fruits, such as pears. If the cough is severe, inhalation therapy or oral administration of children's cough syrup, loquat cough granules, or other cough medications may be used under a doctor's guidance. However, please note that loquat cough granules are recommended for use in children aged 14 years and older.
