What should be done if a child's cough keeps recurring?
My nephew has been coughing frequently lately. I would like to ask, what should be done if a child has a recurring cough?
If a child's cough keeps recurring, you can visit the respiratory medicine department at a regular hospital. If the cough is caused by allergies, the child may take Loratadine Tablets under the guidance of a qualified physician. If it is caused by pneumonia, oral administration of Amoxicillin Granules and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide Syrup may be used according to medical advice. If the cough is due to tuberculosis, anti-tuberculosis medications such as Pyrazinamide Tablets may be taken orally as directed by a physician. However, please note that Pyrazinamide Tablets are recommended for use in children aged 14 years and older.
