Dr. Zhou Xiaofeng

If infant intestinal distension is caused by indigestion, it can be treated, under a doctor's guidance, with oral administration of live combined Bacillus subtilis and Bifidobacterium trilactis powder. If it is caused by insufficient intestinal motility, mosapride citrate granules can be taken as directed by a physician. If it is caused by chronic enteritis with bacterial infection present, Cefixime granules may be prescribed for oral administration according to medical advice. However, it is important to note that Cefixime granules should only be used in infants older than 6 months.
