Can pregnant women eat peaches?
I am 31 years old this year and have been pregnant for more than 4 months. I would like to know whether pregnant women can eat peaches.

In general, pregnant women can consume peaches in moderation. Peaches are nutritious fruits containing vitamin C, vitamin A, potassium, dietary fiber, and other nutrients, all of which are beneficial to the health of both the pregnant woman and the fetus. Vitamin C has antioxidant properties, potassium helps maintain electrolyte balance in the body, and dietary fiber can promote intestinal motility and, to some extent, relieve discomfort symptoms such as constipation.
However, consumption should be moderate. Peaches contain certain amounts of fruit acid and sugar, and excessive intake may cause gastrointestinal discomfort, such as bloating, diarrhea, and other symptoms. Some pregnant women may experience allergic reactions to peaches, such as itching skin and red rashes. Therefore, pregnant women with allergic constitutions should avoid eating peaches. Fresh peaches offer better taste and higher nutritional value. Before consumption, peaches should be thoroughly washed to avoid adverse health effects from pesticides or other contaminants.
The gastrointestinal function and blood glucose levels of pregnant women should be considered. Pregnant women with weak gastrointestinal function are not advised to eat excessive amounts of peaches, and those with high blood sugar should control their peach intake due to the fruit's sugar content.
