How to Recover from Nearsightedness
Playing on the phone every day has caused my myopia to increase rapidly, making everything look blurry. Is there actually any way to restore my eyesight?

The recovery of myopic eyes mainly depends on prevention and control of its further progression, rather than complete reversal. Generally, maintaining proper eye usage posture, vision training, wearing appropriate glasses or contact lenses, orthokeratology lenses, and refractive surgery can help slow the progression of myopia.
1. Proper eye usage posture: Maintain correct posture while reading and working, ensuring books or screens are kept at an appropriate distance from the eyes—approximately 50-60 centimeters—and ensure sufficient lighting.
2. Vision training: Specific eye exercises, such as eye movement and focusing exercises, can strengthen the strength and flexibility of eye muscles, which may help improve vision.
3. Wearing appropriate glasses or contact lenses: If you are already myopic, wearing suitable glasses or contact lenses can correct vision and reduce eye strain.
4. Orthokeratology lenses: Orthokeratology lenses can be worn at night to temporarily improve vision by reshaping the cornea, eliminating the need for glasses during the day.
5. Refractive surgery: For adults with myopia, procedures such as laser correction surgery can permanently alter the corneal curvature to improve vision, although this should be done under the guidance of a qualified physician.
In daily life, it is recommended to undergo regular eye examinations to detect and correct vision problems promptly, preventing further worsening of myopia.
