Precursors of liver cancer involve multiple body systems. Digestive system symptoms are common, such as a significant decrease in appetite, loss of interest in food, feeling full and uncomfortable in the upper abdomen even after eating small amounts, and may be accompanied by nausea and vomiting. Weight may decrease unexplainably over a short period, continuing to drop despite normal eating and sleeping habits. Dull, aching, or distending pain may develop in the liver area, varying in intensity and frequency, and sometimes persisting even after rest. The body may feel easily fatigued and weak, with tiredness setting in quickly during daily activities even with sufficient sleep. Some individuals may also develop jaundice,表现为 yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes, along with darkened urine.

If symptoms similar to the above appear, do not attempt self-diagnosis or delay treatment; seek medical attention at a hospital promptly. Hospitals generally perform liver function tests and tumor marker examinations (such as alpha-fetoprotein), combined with imaging studies like abdominal ultrasound, CT scan, or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to establish a diagnosis. Individuals with chronic liver diseases such as hepatitis B or C, or those with a family history of liver cancer, should undergo regular checkups, with liver-related examinations recommended every six months. In daily life, maintain a healthy lifestyle by quitting smoking and alcohol consumption, following a regular sleep schedule, avoiding late nights, eating a balanced diet, consuming more fresh fruits, vegetables, and high-quality protein sources, while reducing intake of moldy or preserved foods.
