Washing your face frequently is not always beneficial. In fact, excessive cleansing can disrupt the skin's natural barrier and oil balance, leading to dryness, irritation, or sensitivity.

Maintaining facial cleanliness is important for preventing skin issues such as acne and pimples. However, overwashing may strip the skin of necessary oils that are essential for maintaining moisture and barrier function.

Everyone's skin type and needs are different. For oily skin, more frequent cleansing may be needed to reduce oil buildup; for dry skin, excessive face washing may worsen dryness and tightness. Moisturizer should be applied promptly after washing to lock in moisture and maintain skin hydration.

Environmental factors should also be considered: if you are in a dusty environment, exposed to heavy cooking fumes, or sweat heavily, it may be appropriate to rinse your face with water, although facial cleanser is not needed every time; in a relatively clean home environment, excessive face washing may not be necessary.

The key to facial cleansing lies in "moderate cleansing." If skin problems (such as dryness, acne, sensitivity) occur frequently, it is advisable to consult a dermatologist.
