How to deal with acne and pimples all over the face
I've recently developed a lot of acne on my face, which is affecting my appearance. Could you help me understand how to manage this?

Dealing with acne on the face requires a scientific approach based on its causes and severity. Firstly, adjust lifestyle habits: avoid staying up late, ensure 7-8 hours of sleep daily to reduce excessive sebum secretion; follow a low-sugar, low-fat diet, consume more fresh fruits and vegetables, and avoid spicy or high-sugar foods (such as milk tea and cake) that may exacerbate inflammation.
In terms of skin cleansing, choose a gentle amino acid-based facial cleanser and wash the face twice daily, avoiding excessive cleansing that may damage the skin barrier. If acne primarily presents as comedones, topical retinoid creams (such as adapalene) can be applied locally to promote skin exfoliation. For red, inflamed papules, benzoyl peroxide gel or antibiotic ointments (such as clindamycin) may be used.
In addition, avoid squeezing pimples manually to prevent infection spread or scarring. Products containing salicylic acid or fruit acid can be used once or twice weekly to help unclog pores, although caution is advised for sensitive skin. It is recommended to seek timely medical advice, allowing a professional dermatologist to develop an individualized treatment plan based on the type of skin lesions, thus avoiding self-medication that could worsen the condition.
