Granuloma annulare is a benign inflammatory skin condition. However, it is relatively rare and typically affects adolescents and children. Patients often present with unexplained swellings on the feet and hands; some may also exhibit papules and small nodules. As the disease progresses, the lesions may enlarge in size, and the granulomas may grow larger. This condition can also occur in patients with diabetes.
