What should I do about peeling skin on the soles of my feet?
Disease description:
My soles are particularly prone to peeling. What should I do about peeling skin on the soles?
Peeling of the soles can be managed by oral vitamin A supplementation to regulate epidermal keratinization, along with topical application of petroleum jelly or antiallergic medications. Numerous factors can cause sole peeling, including blisters, tinea pedis (athlete’s foot), or other dermatological conditions affecting the feet. Poorly ventilated footwear may also contribute to bacterial infection and subsequent peeling.
