Yellowish urine is commonly a sign of inadequate fluid intake. When insufficient water is consumed, less urine is produced, and the body reabsorbs more water from the urine, resulting in a more concentrated, darker yellow appearance. This may also occur during hot weather, when excessive sweating leads to dehydration. Additionally, when immunity is compromised, microbial infection—such as urethritis caused by pathogens affecting the urethra—can also cause yellowish urine.
