Most cases of scrotal eczema are caused by excessive moisture—for example, prolonged sitting in men, which can promote the growth of microorganisms in the scrotal area and trigger eczema. Once eczema develops, topical application of PREDNISOLONE CREAM (e.g., “Pai Rui Song”) may be used. Daily care should emphasize keeping the scrotal area dry and wearing pure cotton, highly breathable underwear.
