Treatment for corneal leukoma depends on the severity of the condition in the patient. If the leukoma is confined to the cornea and does not impair vision—especially if it is small or located in the peripheral cornea—no treatment is typically required; regular observation suffices. However, if the leukoma is large, centrally located in the cornea, or adversely affects visual acuity, surgical intervention may be recommended to improve symptoms.
