What causes numbness in the left leg?
Disease description:
I have a history of fracture in my left leg. After the wound healed, I frequently experience numbness, swelling, and pain. What could be causing the numbness in my left leg?
Currently, numbness in the leg is present, which is primarily attributed to sequelae following a previous fracture—most likely resulting from inadequate rehabilitation after the fracture. For now, the main recommendations are regular local heat application and massage as part of supportive therapy. Additionally, blood-activating and stasis-resolving medications may be appropriately used. Daily activities should avoid excessive or strenuous exertion, while maintaining moderate, appropriate movement.
