Is Gentamicin Sulfate Granules appropriate for treating enteritis?
Disease description:
I’ve recently experienced vomiting and diarrhea. After visiting the hospital, I was diagnosed with enteritis. A friend recommended using gentamicin sulfate granules—would this be an appropriate treatment for enteritis?
Enteritis can be treated with gentamicin sulfate granules. Symptoms of enteritis include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and gastroenteric discomfort—often associated with consumption of contaminated food. Gentamicin sulfate granules are effective in treating enteritis. However, for acute gastroenteritis, combining this treatment with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is recommended to better control the disease.
