How to Properly Manage Fever in Children at Night
Disease description:
Fever always occurs at night—what should I do if my one-year-old child frequently develops fevers during the night?
If a child experiences frequent fevers, this may indicate a bacterial or viral infection, and a blood test at the hospital is recommended to guide targeted treatment. After a fever develops, physical cooling methods can be used to help reduce body temperature and effectively prevent sustained high fever from causing harm to the child. If the fever exceeds 38°C (100.4°F), antipyretic medication should be administered. Additionally, the child should drink plenty of warm water to aid recovery. When body temperature rises above 38°C, appropriate medication may be taken as directed.
