What medications, when taken together with Qianlie Huichun Capsules, may cause adverse effects?
Disease description:
Recently, I’ve been feeling unwell and need to take Qianlie Huichun Capsules. However, I’m unsure which medications can be taken alongside them. Could you please advise which drugs, when combined with Qianlie Huichun Capsules, may cause adverse effects?
Qianlie Huichun Capsules are a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) preparation composed primarily of herbal ingredients including Polygonum cuspidatum (Hu Zhang), Pheretima (Di Long), Akebia stem (Mu Tong), Plantago seed (Che Qian Zi), and Phellodendron bark (Huang Bai). During treatment with this product, patients should avoid concomitant use of potassium-sparing diuretics—such as spironolactone or triamterene—to prevent hyperkalemia. Prior to initiating Qianlie Huichun Capsules, consultation with a physician is recommended.
