A child’s body temperature of 37.5°C is slightly elevated and falls within the low-grade fever range. This symptom may be caused by a common cold. It is recommended that you encourage your child to drink plenty of fluids and closely monitor their temperature. If the temperature rises to 38°C or higher, administer an appropriate antipyretic medication. Alternatively, external cooling methods—such as fever-reducing patches, alcohol sponge baths, or gua sha—can also be effective. If necessary, a complete blood count (CBC) test should be performed.
