The underlying cause of skin growths (small flesh-colored bumps) on the neck must be clearly identified before selecting an appropriate treatment. If the bumps are caused by flat warts or filiform warts, laser therapy or cryotherapy may be used for removal. If they result from miliaria (heat rash), topical application of talcum powder may help. Bumps due to sebaceous gland hyperplasia require surgical excision of excess tissue. Large lesions may be treated surgically. For recurrent lesions, targeted therapy is necessary; notably large ones may be removed. If secondary infection is present, prompt antimicrobial treatment is essential. Itchy, small nodular bumps on the neck suggest folliculitis or sebaceous gland inflammation. Avoid spicy foods and adopt a low-fat diet; regularly cleanse the area with warm water, avoid squeezing or picking at the lesions, and gently massage the cervical lymph nodes.
