Pain appearing on the body can be managed with diclofenac sodium and lidocaine hydrochloride. Diclofenac sodium is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) effective for treating muscle pain and soft tissue pain. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that also provides analgesic effects. This topical medication is primarily intended for symptomatic pain relief; however, it does not address the underlying cause of pain and should not be used long-term.
