Dr. Li Qinghui
A diastolic blood pressure of 108 mmHg is abnormal, exceeding the normal blood pressure range and thus classified as hypertension. Patients are advised to promptly initiate antihypertensive drug therapy—such as diuretics, beta-blockers, or calcium channel blockers—to restore diastolic pressure to normal levels. Hypertension is a relatively common chronic condition; however, its precise etiological factors remain incompletely understood.
