Elevated blood lipid levels pose significant health risks and are major risk factors for thrombosis, atherosclerosis, and vascular plaque formation. Consequently, they are common underlying causes of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events. It is therefore recommended to seek prompt medical evaluation and treatment—including lipid-lowering therapy, vasodilation, and improvement of microcirculation. Additionally, strict dietary control is essential in daily life: maintain regular physical exercise and avoid fatty and spicy or irritating foods.
