How to recover after uterine polyp surgery
Uterine polypectomy is a surgical procedure that removes abnormally overgrown tissue from the uterus. To promote rapid recovery following polyp removal, proper wound care is essential. The general postoperative care steps are as follows:

1. External genital cleansing: First, gently wash the external genitalia with warm water, then soak in a diluted potassium permanganate solution for approximately 3 minutes, and finally pat dry with a clean towel.
2. Positioning: Lie supine on the bed without a pillow, flex both knees, and gently separate the legs to expose the external genitalia.
3. Insertion of vaginal suppository: Slowly insert the prescribed vaginal suppository into the vagina. Once properly positioned, leave a portion of the attached retrieval string outside the vaginal opening.
Important considerations: Vaginal suppositories must be used strictly under the guidance of a qualified physician. Additionally, oral medications may also be prescribed to support optimal wound healing.
