Introduction
Topical ointments applied to the skin gradually diffuse into the dermis, are absorbed by capillaries, and enter the bloodstream to achieve therapeutic effects. In relatively dry environments, the ointment usually takes about 20 minutes to be absorbed after application. However, in environments with higher temperature and humidity, the absorption rate may be slower, typically taking around 40 minutes for complete absorption.

Medicated ointment usually takes about 20 to 40 minutes to be absorbed, but this also depends on the surrounding environment, as different conditions can affect the absorption rate of the ointment.

When applied locally to the skin, the ointment gradually spreads into the dermis, is absorbed by capillaries, and enters the bloodstream to achieve therapeutic effects. If the environment is relatively dry during application, the ointment generally takes about 20 minutes to be absorbed. However, if the temperature is high and humidity is high, the absorption process may be slower, typically taking around 40 minutes.

When applying ointment, avoid using too thick a layer at once; follow the instructions provided. Before use, check whether the ointment is within its expiration date. Also, avoid prolonged continuous application to prevent steroid-dependent dermatitis. If any discomfort occurs after application, discontinue use immediately.
