1. Potassium poisoning: The main component of potassium salt is potassium. Moderate consumption helps replenish the body's needed potassium ions, but excessive intake can result in potassium overdose, leading to symptoms such as numbness in limbs, pale skin, and slow heart rate. 2. Hyperkalemia: Excessive consumption of potassium salt increases potassium levels in the body and may cause hyperkalemia, resulting in muscle weakness and abnormal cardiac conduction. 3. Kidney failure: Potassium ions in the body are normally excreted through the kidneys.
