Introduction
Feeling too hot, nauseous, and vomiting may be due to high temperatures. Prolonged exposure to a hot environment can lead to heat accumulation in the body and insufficient heat dissipation, resulting in heatstroke. It could also be caused by poor dietary hygiene or excessive consumption of raw, cold, or irritating foods, which burden the gastrointestinal tract and lead to indigestion. Additionally, excessive heat, combined with irregular eating habits, may cause overproduction of gastric acid, leading to chronic gastritis.

Feeling too hot with nausea and vomiting may be caused by heatstroke, indigestion, chronic gastritis, or other reasons.

1. Heatstroke

Nausea and vomiting in extremely hot weather may result from prolonged exposure to high temperatures, which can disrupt the body's temperature regulation mechanism, causing excessive heat buildup that cannot be dissipated effectively—leading to heatstroke. Patients may also experience symptoms such as heavy sweating, pale complexion, and thirst.

2. Indigestion

Indigestion may occur due to poor eating habits, consuming excessive raw, cold, irritating, or hard-to-digest foods, thereby overburdening the gastrointestinal tract. This may be accompanied by decreased appetite, bloating, abdominal pain, and belching.

3. Chronic Gastritis

Excessive heat may lead to irregular eating patterns, resulting in overproduction of stomach acid and triggering chronic gastritis, which can cause the aforementioned symptoms. Additional symptoms may include bloating, belching, stomach pain, heartburn, and acid reflux.

Patients are advised to promptly identify the underlying cause before initiating treatment, and avoid self-medicating, which could interfere with recovery.
