People with weak spleen and stomach can usually eat some bananas. However, it is recommended to pay attention to the amount consumed—eating smaller portions more frequently throughout the day—and to engage in physical activity after meals. In addition, patients with cold deficiency of the spleen and stomach should consume more warming foods in daily life, and avoid spicy, raw, cold, and greasy foods to prevent worsening of their condition.

Patients with weak spleen and stomach can generally eat bananas, but should do so in moderation. The analysis is as follows:

Bananas are a nutritious fruit rich in sugar, providing carbohydrates and energy for the body. Additionally, bananas contain various vitamins, trace elements, and abundant minerals—especially potassium ions, which help replenish the body's potassium levels. Therefore, in clinical cases presenting symptoms of spleen and stomach deficiency-cold, such as cold stomach with abdominal distension, poor appetite, stomach pain due to cold, aversion to cold, bland taste without thirst, moderate consumption of bananas may be beneficial.

However, intake should be controlled. Bananas are rich in dietary fiber; excessive consumption may stimulate intestinal motility and lead to diarrhea, which is detrimental to health.

Patients with spleen and stomach deficiency-cold should incorporate more warm-natured foods into their daily diet, such as lamb and pork liver, while avoiding cold-natured foods to prevent worsening of their condition.
