Introduction
To surgically remove a keloid, first outline the margins of the keloid with dye. After injecting local anesthetic, excise the keloid tissue, use an electrocautery knife to control bleeding, and then suture the wound. Finally, cover the site with sterile gauze and secure it with adhesive tape. The duration of the surgical procedure depends on the size of the keloid; larger and more numerous keloids require longer operation times.

Keloids, also known as keloid tumors, can be treated by surgical excision. The surgical procedure is as follows:

1. First, clearly define the boundaries by outlining the edges of the keloid with special dye to ensure accurate removal during surgery.

2. Then inject local anesthetic along the base of the keloid.

3. The doctor uses a scalpel to remove the keloid and separates the scar tissue from the underlying normal tissue.

4. Next, electrocautery is used to achieve thorough hemostasis (stop bleeding).

5. After further dissection of surrounding tissues, continuous suturing is performed.

6. Finally, the incision is dressed with sterile gauze and secured with medical tape.

Note: The duration of keloid excision surgery depends on the size of the keloid. Larger or multiple keloids require more time.

Medication should be used only under the guidance of a qualified physician, and surgery should be performed at a正规 medical facility.
