Localized allergic reactions are likely to occur after contact with stinging nettle, resulting in symptoms such as erythema, urticaria, and itching. Treatment should be based on the symptoms, and topical calamine lotion can be used. During application, avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and nose. If a burning sensation, redness, or swelling occurs at the application site, discontinue use and wash off the medication from the affected area.

Contact with stinging nettles often causes localized allergic reactions, such as redness, hives, and itching. Treatment should be based on the symptoms, and topical application of calamine lotion can be used. Specific steps are as follows:

1. First, clean the affected skin area and keep it dry.

2. Shake the calamine lotion well before use, then dip a cotton swab into an appropriate amount of the solution.

3. Apply evenly to the affected area 2–3 times daily. There is no need to wash off the lotion after application.
