Introduction
A body temperature of 36.8°C is within the normal range and does not indicate a low-grade fever. Generally, a fever is considered when body temperature exceeds 37.3°C. If axillary temperature ranges between 37.1°C and 38°C, it is classified as a low-grade fever; between 38.1°C and 39°C as moderate fever; and between 39.1°C and 41°C as high fever.

Fever can be caused by diseases affecting virtually any organ or system in the body. In daily life, infections are the most common cause of fever. Other causes include tumors, rheumatic diseases, sterile inflammation, and neurological disorders that disrupt the body's temperature regulation, potentially leading to fever. Low-grade fever refers to mild elevation in body temperature. The normal axillary (underarm) temperature ranges between 36–37°C. An axillary temperature between 37.1–38°C is classified as low-grade fever; 38.1–39°C indicates moderate fever; and 39.1–41°C constitutes high fever.

There are many causes of low-grade fever, including heat exhaustion, common cold, urinary tract infections, gastroenteritis, and other common infectious conditions. Infections in the head and neck region, such as tonsillitis, may also present with low-grade fever. Persistent or recurrent low-grade fever may occur in chronic wasting conditions such as tuberculosis, cancer, or hematological disorders. Additionally, active phases of autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis or systemic lupus erythematosus, can also manifest with low-grade fever.

Regular moderate aerobic exercise and strength training, along with breathing fresh air, can improve blood circulation, enhance physical fitness, and boost immune function.
