How to remove paint spray inhaled into the lungs
Inhaling paint fumes into the lungs can generally be treated and removed through general care or medical treatment.
1. General Treatment
If only a small amount of paint has been inhaled, drinking plenty of warm water may help promote metabolism, allowing the paint substances to be expelled from the body more quickly and reducing harm to the body. In cases of gas poisoning, oxygen therapy using an oxygen machine or receiving oxygen at a hospital is recommended.
2. Medical Treatment
If a large amount of paint is inhaled and symptoms such as dizziness or nausea occur, hyperbaric oxygen chamber therapy at a hospital may be necessary. Under medical guidance, detoxification can be supported with medications such as injectable vitamin C or injectable reduced glutathione. Additionally, diuretics such as furosemide tablets, hydrochlorothiazide tablets, or torasemide tablets may be used as directed by a physician to accelerate the elimination of paint substances from the body.
If paint is inhaled into the lungs, prompt medical consultation is advised, and treatment should be conducted according to medical recommendations to prevent adverse effects on health.
