How to vomit up the food that was eaten
Vomiting up ingested food generally refers to induced emesis. This is usually achieved by drinking concentrated salt water, stimulating the throat, or using medications.
1. Drinking Concentrated Salt Water
Concentrated salt water strongly irritates the gastric mucosa. If gastrointestinal function is relatively healthy, drinking concentrated salt water may induce vomiting and expel consumed food.
2. Stimulating the Throat
Using fingers, chopsticks, or similar objects to press on the back of the tongue can stimulate the throat area, triggering a natural reflex that results in vomiting.
3. Using Medications
If the above methods are ineffective, medications such as diluted potassium permanganate solution, zinc sulfate solution, or copper sulfate solution may be taken under a doctor's advice to irritate the gastric mucosa and induce vomiting.
It is recommended to choose an appropriate method of induced vomiting under medical guidance to avoid self-administered attempts that could cause injury to the esophagus and throat.
