Introduction
The potential harms of cold floor tiles to babies include: the smooth surface of tiles can cause slips and falls when a baby's feet sweat, possibly resulting in foot injuries. Additionally, since babies have relatively weak gastrointestinal functions, crawling or playing on cold floor tiles may lead to gastrointestinal chilling and subsequent diarrhea. Moreover, a baby's foot skin is delicate; if the cold floor tiles are not properly disinfected or cleaned, bacteria may invade the skin and cause foot skin inflammation.

Cool floor tiles can pose several health risks to babies, including injuries, diarrhea, and infections.

1. Injuries

When babies walk on cool floor tiles, the surface can be slippery. If their feet sweat, they may accidentally fall and sustain foot injuries.

2. Diarrhea

Babies have relatively weak gastrointestinal systems. Crawling or playing directly on cool floor tiles may cause their stomachs to become chilled, leading to diarrhea.

3. Infections

Baby's foot skin is delicate. If the cool floor tiles are not properly cleaned or disinfected, walking barefoot on them may allow bacteria to enter the skin, potentially causing skin inflammation on the feet.

In addition, babies may also be more susceptible to catching colds. It is important to maintain proper warmth and generally avoid letting babies walk barefoot on cool floor tiles.
