Introduction
Eating eggs and saccharin together will not cause poisoning. Eggs and saccharin are two completely different substances. Eggs are a nutrient-rich food, while saccharin is an artificial sweetener commonly used in food processing to partially replace sucrose, thereby reducing calories and enhancing sweetness. However, consuming eggs and saccharin together might lead to some adverse effects.

Under normal circumstances, consuming eggs and saccharin together may cause poisoning. The detailed analysis is as follows:

Eggs are a nutrient-rich food, abundant in various essential nutrients such as proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals, making them one of the important sources of nutrition for the human body. Saccharin is an artificial sweetener commonly used in food processing to replace part of sucrose, aiming to reduce calorie content while enhancing sweetness. Saccharin is approximately 400 times sweeter than sucrose, yet its caloric content is only about 1/200 that of sucrose. Although saccharin can substitute for some sucrose, it does not provide any nutritional value required by the body. Moreover, when heated, amino acids in eggs can react chemically with saccharin to form a toxic compound called glycosyl lysine. Consuming them together may lead to poisoning symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.

In summary, eggs should not be consumed together with saccharin. If significant physical discomfort occurs, prompt medical attention is necessary to prevent worsening of the condition and potential life-threatening consequences.
