Can tofu pudding be reheated?
Tofu pudding can usually be reheated a second time, but if it has spoiled or developed an off odor, it should not be reheated.

If the remaining tofu pudding is promptly refrigerated after the initial consumption and is planned to be eaten again within 24 hours, it can be reheated a second time, provided there is no unusual odor or discoloration. Before reheating, check the surface of the tofu pudding for mold spots or abnormal odors. If everything appears normal, it can be heated in a microwave at medium-low power or steamed in a pot using indirect heat, ensuring the internal temperature reaches above 70°C to kill any potentially present bacteria.
If the tofu pudding develops an unusual odor, discoloration, or changes in texture, it indicates spoilage. At this point, it generally should not be reheated and should not be consumed anymore, to avoid gastrointestinal discomfort such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. If perishable ingredients such as meat or seafood have been added to the tofu pudding and it has been stored for a prolonged period, even reheating may not completely eliminate bacteria.
In daily life, it is recommended to develop good food storage habits to reduce food waste while ensuring food safety.
