1. Eating Fresh

Rinse the carambola thoroughly with clean water to remove dust and impurities from its surface. Since the edges of the carambola have hard ridges and a slightly astringent taste, they can be peeled off. The fruit can then be sliced thinly and eaten directly. This method best preserves the original flavor and juiciness of the carambola, allowing one to enjoy its tender, juicy, sweet-and-sour taste.

2. Stewed Carambola with Egg and Milk
