Introduction
In women with a normal body build, the uterus measures 7–8 cm in length, 4–5 cm in width, and 2–3 cm in thickness. The uterine cavity is the most critical part of the uterus, primarily serving as the site for embryonic development and menstruation. A normal uterus has an inverted triangular shape and consists mainly of muscular tissue. The uterine cavity normally holds approximately 5 mL; however, by late pregnancy, its volume increases approximately 1,000-fold.

In women with a normal body build, the uterus measures approximately 7–8 cm in length, 4–5 cm in width, and 2–3 cm in thickness. However, uterine size varies somewhat among individuals depending on height and body weight. The uterus is the most vital organ of the female reproductive system, primarily responsible for embryonic development and menstruation. Anatomically, the normal uterus has an inverted triangular shape and consists predominantly of muscular tissue.

The uterine cavity is the most critical part of the uterus. Its normal capacity is about 5 mL; however, during late pregnancy, its volume increases approximately 1,000-fold—reaching up to 5,000 mL—and gradually returns to baseline after delivery.Additionally, the uterine cavity plays a key role in menstruation and functions as an endocrine organ, responding dynamically to hormonal fluctuations.
