How many days does a child’s viral fever last?

Introduction
In general, viral fever in children typically lasts 3 to 5 days. During the early stage of viral fever, children may exhibit facial flushing, a hot forehead, cold hands and feet, and lethargy. Additional symptoms may include sore throat, rhinorrhea, cough, vomiting, and diarrhea. However, accompanying symptoms are often atypical and may manifest only as spitting up milk, loss of appetite, or diarrhea.
医学角度而言，病毒期为7天，一般情况下，小孩病毒性Fever持续时间为3到5天。
小孩病毒性Fever初期表现为脸红、额头烫、手脚冰冷、精神状态差，除此之外，还会伴有咽痛、流鼻涕、Cough、呕吐、腹泻等情况。而伴随Symptoms不是很典型，可能只有吐奶、厌食、腹泻等现象。
如果小孩反复Fever的3到5天还不退烧，此时需要引起重视，这种情况可能为细菌感染，需要及时就诊，根据Doctor的Diagnosis结果，是否使用抗生素进行Treatment。
小孩Fever需要每隔1至2个小时测量一次体温。孩子在Fever时要注意保暖，切记不要给小孩盖太厚的被子、穿过多衣服，“捂汗”式传统Method并不科学，不利于小孩子散热退烧。
另外，还需要温水冲凉，Fever后出很多汗，如果不保持清洁，容易引起其他病菌的感染。
总的来说，小孩Fever体温小于38.5℃可采用物理降温，体温大于等于38.5℃，需要给小孩吃退烧药。
