I’ve been feeling unwell recently and went to the hospital for a blood test, but I’ve had a mild fever over the past few days. Is it okay to have a blood test while running a fever?

Less frequently, it may result from hematologic or immune system disorders. Blood tests can typically determine whether the fever is due to a viral or bacterial infection.
