A heart rate of 94 beats per minute falls within the normal range but is relatively elevated. This may be partly attributable to anxiety. We recommend monitoring your heart rate again while at rest. If the heart rate decreases significantly under resting conditions, the tachycardia is likely due to anxiety or recent physical activity and does not require treatment. However, if the heart rate remains elevated even at rest, impaired cardiac function should be considered.
