Medications such as dydrogesterone tablets and estradiol benzoate may be effective in managing menstrual irregularities. However, the underlying causes of menstrual disorders vary among individuals, and thus treatment approaches—including pharmacotherapy—must be tailored accordingly. For instance, if menstrual irregularity stems from thyroid dysfunction, oral thyroid hormone replacement therapy may be required. In contrast, if the disorder results from sudden changes in lifestyle, timely lifestyle modifications may suffice, and pharmacological intervention may not be necessary.
