As delivery approaches, if blood pressure rises during labor induction, it is acceptable to take oral antihypertensive medications for treatment. Uncontrolled hypertension may adversely affect the labor induction procedure. Therefore, it is advisable to visit a hospital for evaluation; based on the examination results, appropriate treatment methods and medications can be selected—or hospitalization may be recommended—to prevent further elevation of blood pressure, reduce cardiovascular strain, alleviate stress, improve sleep, and avoid excessive mental tension.
